Which envelope should I choose?

We love creating custom envelopes that are right for you, but we’re often asked to advise which type is best for you, so we’ve put together some FAQs below which we hope will help you find the perfect match:

What size envelopes do you print?

Ignite Print can produce personalised envelopes in DL, C6, C5 and C4 size. From our experience, DL and C5 envelopes are the most popular, notably as they are a cost-effective option and fall within the normal, cheaper letter postage cost by the Royal Mail.

I’d like a window on my envelope – is this possible?

Absolutely – DL, C5 and C4 envelopes are available in both window and non-window format.

What is the difference between a wallet and pocket envelope?

Wallet and pocket style refer to where the flap is located on the envelope. The flap on a wallet envelope is located on the longer edge. The flap on a pocket envelope is located on the shorter edge.

Not sure about design?

Our experienced team can help you come up with an eye-catching design for your envelopes, creating a first impression to remember. If you have already perfected your artwork, send it over to us as a PDF with a minimum resolution of 300dpi.
